Plymouth Man Charged With Possession of Stolen Property

The Mason City Police Department has arrested 45-year-old Mark Petersen Wednesday after finding several items that were identified as stolen.

Authorities executed 8 search warrants on properties owned by Petersen on Tuesday.

The stolen items found are valued at $58,000.

Petersen is charged with 2nd Degree Possession of Stolen Property, which is a felony and is punishable up to 5 years in prison.

Petersen was also arrested back in early March in the case of a stolen skid loader that belonged to Redline Concrete of Mason City.

Authorities encourage anyone who believes they might have property that was in possession of Petersen to contact the Mason City Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
