ALBERT LEA, Minn. — Earlier today, crews were busy tending to this semi-rollover on the southbound ramp of I-35 at the intersection of County Road 46.
The semi was tipped on its side when law enforcement arrived on scene.
The truck was filled with a candle wax product that was loaded onto another truck.
Crews tell us that there were no leaks from the truck.
Authorities say with nicer weather on the way, speed tends to play a factor in these crashes.
“Yes, this time of the year with the weather not being a factor it’s usually a factor where the driver is either not paying attention or speed would be a factor,” Trooper Scott Crabtree of the Minnesota State Patrol said.
He adds speed did play a factor in this crash.
The driver took a corner too fast.
Nobody was hurt.
