ROCHESTER, MN – 61-year-old Stanley Wilkinson was sentenced today in Olmsted County District Court. He has been placed on probation for 2 years. He was sentenced to serve 91 days in jail but that sentence was suspended. He will also be required to perform 100 hours of community work service. Wilkinson was charged with intentional discharge of a firearm that endangered safety on December 10th. The charge stemmed from an incident where Wilkinson thought he saw someone trying to open the deck door to his home. He fired two rounds and hit his granddaughter who was coming into the house.
