ALBERT LEA, Minn. — Folks heading to Albert Lea City Hall will be dealing with some construction.
Crews are working on tearing off and replacing the roof on the building.
Most of the inside work on the project has been completed, with crews now working on outer portion.
To help with the project, some changes are being made to help the work move along.
“We closed off the east half of the north parking lot down by the lake,” Building Official Doug Johnson said. “That’s for the contractor to set up his equipment, crane and store some materials there.”
That side of the parking lot will be closed for approximately four weeks.
However, the back entrance and the book drop will still be accessible by foot.
