Mason City, IA – In fact, you could say it was a “zoo” of a day at Lime Creek Nature Center.
The “Zoomobile” came all the way from the Minnesota Zoo for a visit, giving kids a first-hand look at animals from rodents to birds.
Judy Armstrong, an Interpreter Naturalist from the Zoo, says her favorite part is all the questions
“Usually it’s the questions that get me. I think watching them ah and the wonder in people’s eyes and then when they ask me something that I have to think about I think its keeps me on my toes,” said Armstrong.
Armstrong had five species of animal to show the kids.
This is the Zoomobile’s second time visiting Lime Creek.
