ALDEN, MN — A former student’s vision is being carried on by one southern Minnesota school.
Alden-Conger Schools is kicking off a food and clothing drive.
It’s in honor of Ethan Braden, who passed away in July.
Friends say Ethan was always looking to help out, which inspired students and staff to put on this event.
His family says he would be honored by the efforts in the school and the community.
“I think he would be very, very proud to see this,” Ethan’s Mom Sandy Clover said. “He was very vigilant on helping others as was spoken about him today. This is something he held in high regard.”
All the donations will benefit The Reach, a homeless youth drop-in center in Mankato.
Donations can be dropped off at Alden-Conger high school.
