Tonight after 9 PM a severe thunderstorm developed over parts of Northwestern Wright and Southwestern Hancock county. As that storm moved through it dropped some quarter to half dollar sized hail.
The storm weakened as it moved to the northeast and the warning was allowed to expire at 10:45. With more strong storms to the south, the Storm Prediction Center issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 5 AM for a good portion of North Iowa.
