FREEBORN COUNTY, MN –  As you can imagine, all the snow is resulting in a big mess on area roads.

Law enforcement agencies said they haven’t seen any serious injuries in recent crashes, but they have responded to a lot of vehicles stuck in the ditch.

Authorities are reminding drivers not to put away those winter driving skills for the season yet.

“It’s very atypical of what we should be seeing, but it is a reality. Just be safe, be prepared and expect the unexpected,” said Freeborn County Sheriff Bob Kindler.

Sheriff Kindler said if you do find yourself stuck on a road, the best thing to do is remain in your vehicle and call for help.
