MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minnesota man is in federal custody after authorities found Molotov cocktails, suspected pipe bombs and firearms during the search of a Montevideo home.
Buford Rogers was charged Friday by criminal complaint on one charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
U.S. Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Jeanne Cooney confirms federal and local law enforcement executed a search warrant in the Montevideo area. She says that led to the arrest of Rogers.
An FBI affidavit says agents conducting the search found Molotov cocktails, suspected pipe bombs and firearms at the house.
Rogers has a past conviction for felony burglary and is not allowed to have a firearm.
The affidavit says the agent investigating is assigned to the squad that investigates domestic terrorism.
