FREEBORN COUNTY, MN – Instead of trial by fire, you can call this trial by snow.
Rich Hal is the new Emergency Management Director for Freeborn County. Hall has only been on the job for a few weeks, and he’s getting his first taste of an emergency situation with this snow mayhem we’re experiencing.
His role is to coordinate response efforts from all of the different emergency agencies.
“Just kinda been monitoring the situation. Dealing with the power company, making sure the power is going to be restored. We talked a little about shelter, emergency shelters, if the power was going to continue to be out,” said Hall.
