MASON CITY, IA – It’s not done by paint brush or pencil, this three-piece addition is done in glass.  It’s an aerial abstract of the college campus and it was put together by Clear Lake artist John Larsen.  Larsen said that through this artwork, he has come full circle since he first learned his craft at the college back in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.

“I appreciated putting them at NIACC because I am from the area here and this is a permanent display of my work.  It’ll be here for a long time so it’s nice to have this in a public place,” said Larsen.

The three-piece stain glass artwork will be on display for all to enjoy at the NIACC gallery which is located near the auditorium in the fine arts wing.
