KIMT NEWS 3 – A new survey is showing, *that college degree, isn’t going as far as it should.
Many college grads are finding it difficult to land a job related to their major.
A survey from Accenture Consulting Firm shows that affects 41% of college grads from the past two years.
local job experts say a lot of work depends on the location and the career you want, may not be thriving in your area.
Some also may just change their mind after graduation.
Manpower Manager, Tony Buhr said, “They get out there and they find something else that they like, even though they have a degree in this, they may find that this company works well. I know personally a lot of folks, they took very unique majors in college and they’re doing something completely different . Well, they just found a company that they really enjoyed working with.”
Tony also points out you should not turn down a job, just because it’s not exactly what you’re looking for.
