MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa (AP) — A private four-year college in southeast Iowa has a new leader.
The Board of Trustees of Iowa Wesleyan College announced Steven Titus as the school’s 29th president on Tuesday.
Titus is currently senior vice president of university advancement at Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minn. He previously served as president of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Neb.
Titus replaces Jay Simmons, who was named president in December of Simpson College in Indianola. He led Iowa Wesleyan for four years.
The school, located in Mount Pleasant, has about a 700-student enrollment.
