ALBERT LEA, MN — She was a stay-at-home mom who took her family’s potato salad recipe and turned it into a business that employs over 175 regular and seasonal people.

Gerry Vogt founded Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen in 1973 with three products. Now they feature nearly 120 Mrs. Gerry’s branded products.

Due to this success and much more, she is part of the first ever Minnesota Women Business Owners Hall of Fame.

The Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners created the hall of fame to honor women who:

“Demonstrate leadership qualities or a spirit of entrepreneurial innovation that can serve as an inspiration to future generations of Minnesota entrepreneurs.”
