OSAGE, IA – A warning has been issued by officials advising against travel to Osage.
Highways 9 and 218 have both been closed off due to flooding they describe as a potential hazard.
According to officials, nearly 50 percent of gravel roads are currently underwater, making travel near impossible.
Officers are still trying to make it in to the town but at the moment, emergency vehicles have been stalled due to rising water levels.
Their advice is to find higher ground and limit travel at all cost.
