ROCHESTER, MN – A 14-year-old is harmed after police say another teenager threatened him over cigarettes.
Rochester Police were called to the scene Saturday night near Mayo Park. The 14-year-old victim told authorities he was walking with a friend when a 16-year-old came up to the two and walked with them. After walking for a bit, the victim says the 16-year-old pushed him, showed off a pocket knife, and demanded cigarettes. Once the victim gave over the cigarettes, he says the teenager punched him in the face.
Police caught the suspect later and arrested him for robbery. The 14-year-old didn’t receive medical treatment.
