AUSTIN, MN. — Cleanup is continuing at a southern Minnesota campground after the devastating floods.
Crews are hard at work at repairing Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground east of Austin.
Owners tell us they suffered extensive property damage, which includes people’s campers that were total losses.
Despite all the damage, their community and staff have come together to help pick up the pieces of what was lost.
“Our employees and their families on their days off came out to help,” Co-Owner of Jellystone Park Tammy Westrich said. “The seasonals that we had all came out, whether their camper was going to be effected by this or not. They were here to help clean up.”
She says everything will be back to normal by Memorial Day, and everything will go on as scheduled.
