ROCKWELL, IA – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a wanted fugitive.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 23-year old Michael Orozco on several charges.
On April 14th, the Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault at a home in Rockwell.
Police Chief Richard Whitney, with the Rockwell Police Department, says situations like these don’t happen in small towns like Rockwell very often.
“Again this is not a common situation in Rockwell, we don’t have domestics to this magnitude very often, the citizens here should feel safe,” said Whitney.
There is a 1,000 dollar reward for information leading to his arrest.
