Throughout his career NIACC’S Hunter King has always thrived in big environments.

As a sophomore in high school, King helped lead Newman to a state title with his bat and as the Knights starting pitcher.

That brings us to Monday, May 27th.

King blasted a walk-off home run to left field in the bottom of the 11th to push NIACC over Murray State 7-6.

King’s homer improved NIACC’s World Series record to 2-0 on its first trip to the  World Series.

The Trojans now face third-ranked Heartland College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

To hear from King and to see the highlights, check out the video. King’s walk-off home run wasn’t his only clutch moment from the day.
