Bank Teller Pleads Guilty to Embezzling Money

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A southern Minnesota woman is facing up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to embezzling.

Authorities say 64-year-old Cheryl Holzer of Wykoff stole more than $35,000 while working as the head teller at Security State Bank.

The alleged crime happened between 2010 and 2012 and law enforcement says she used bundles of cash to pay her mortgage and other bills.
