DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — St. Louis County commissioners have voted to approve settling a sexual harassment claim for $65,000.
Betty Sislo, of Duluth, came forward in 2007 and alleged a former commissioner sexually harassed her while she was employed as his secretary for 10 years.
Sislo claims former Commissioner Dennis Fink made repeated comments of a sexual nature and inappropriate comments about her personal appearance. Fink has denied the allegations. The county took no action against him.
County Attorney Mark Rubin has recommended the county settle the case filed in federal court.
The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/135lVFL ) reports the board approved settling the claim Tuesday by voice vote, with no discussion.
