MASON CITY, IA – A sentencing date has now been set for a Mason City resident accused of shooting a teenager he says broke into his home.
Mason City Police say last summer Oglesby reported that his home was broken into. During their investigation, police found that the accused burglary suspect and Oglesby knew each other. And that Oglesby shot his weapon in the direction of the suspect during the getaway.
Last week, Oglesby charge was changed to intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He pleaded guilty to that charge.
His sentencing is set for June 24th.
