UPDATED: 3 Riders Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash

BRITT, IA – Three motorcycle riders are hospitalized after a two-bike crash Saturday night.

According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened when one motorcycle tried to pass another while the two were northbound on James Avenue.  It happened around 8 p.m. at 210th Street and James.

32-year-old Tracey Brock, 35-year-old Shane Brock, both of Garner, and 32-year-old Anthony Babcock, of Wesley were all injured and taken by helicopter to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  According to a Mayo spokesperson, Tracey Brock is listed in serious condition, Shane Brock is listed in good condition, and Babcock was seen and dismissed.

Charges are pending.  The accident remains under investigation.

In addition to the Iowa State Patrol, Mercy Air Med, Mayo One, Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Britt Police, Britt Ambulance and Fire, and Rochester Police were all involved in the crash response.
