CLARKS GROVE, MN — There are some concerns about what’s going on at one southern Minnesota Park.
Today, the Freeborn County Commissioners met and one item on their agenda was what’s happening at Harmony Park.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department says they are concerned after several drug related arrests were made near the park during a music festival last month.
Now, a hearing has been scheduled on August 6th that will focus on the conditional use permit for the park.
“A multitude of different changes could be made or they could do nothing at all, leave it as is, or they could go to the other end of the spectrum and just revoke or pull the permit and not have that permit available for future events,” Freeborn County Administrator John Kluever said.
We did reach out to the Park’s owner Jay Sullivan.
He says he is looking forward to working with Freeborn County Law Enforcement and Commissioners to correct any problems at the park.
