Fatal hit-and-run at interstate rest stop

MAHTOWA TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a Duluth man is under arrest for a hit-and-run death at an interstate rest stop.

The patrol says a 62-year-old Cloquet man was walking in the Mahtowa rest area along Interstate 35 Wednesday evening when a Ford pickup struck and killed him.
