MASON CITY, IA – A Mason City man is doing something that hasn’t been done for years, he’s bringing consignment items to the auction block.
Randy Black with Relic Hunting Auction Services and Appraisals is auctioning off consignment shop treasures and his first night was Tuesday night.
Black says because the baby boomer generation is starting to downsize their homes, items from the past are heading his way.
And he loves to be able to help get them to new homes.
“Just auctioning, I love chanting and being an auctioneer its fun and its good taking care of people. I love customer service so I’m going to take care of people and take care of their belongings,” said Black.
Black says he will be doing the auctions on Tuesday nights, so that people with plans on the weekends can attend.
The next auction will be July 23rd at the North Iowa Fairgrounds.
