AUSTIN, MN — An Austin man is being charged with stealing.
Anthony Adams is accused of stealing more $10,000 worth of fireworks and equipment over the weekend.
He is charged with theft and receiving stolen property, which are both felonies.
According to court records the Snap Fireworks stand had to close last Friday due to an emergency.
An Austin police officer then saw Adams approach the stand and take about 30 boxes of fireworks.
Adams claimed he was an employee but the officer took his information.
After missing items were reported Sunday, authorities found them in Adams’ garage.
