AUSTIN, MN — The streets of Austin were packed today for their Fourth of July celebration, “Freedom Fest”.
People were lined up at Main Street to enjoy the parade.
It kicked off this morning at 11.
It’s a welcomed sight for veterans and military men and women who have served our country.
“To see people who actually appreciate the sacrifices and are grateful for the freedom that people who have served have given them,” Wade Novak said. “And this turnout is just fabulous.”
Tonight will conclude with fireworks at dusk.
Freedom Fest will carry on over the next three days, running until Sunday.
