Blood Donations Down Nationwide

It’s summer time, and that means the Red Cross is in need of blood donors.
The American Red Cross says it typically sees a drop in donors over the summer months, because people are out and about and not scheduling blood donations as often.
Right now, the supply is down about 10% across the nation.
Health officials say there’s a large need for people with negative blood types, since they can be used more widely.
But,  any and all donations are needed and appreciated.
