2 arrested in death of man found in Iowa ditch

OTHO, Iowa (AP) — Two people have been charged with the first-degree murder in the death of Steven Fisher, whose body was found in a roadside ditch near Otho earlier this week.

The Fort Dodge Messenger reports (http://bit.ly/1ba76ZK) that 28-year-old Ronald Dilley and 22-year-old Holly Ekstrom, both of Fort Dodge, were arrested Friday. The Webster County Sheriff’s office says the two are being held on $500,000 bond in the Webster County Jail.

A farmer found Fisher’s body Wednesday evening in a ditch near Otho, about six miles south of Fort Dodge.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says Fisher’s employer reported him missing to police on Tuesday.
