MASON CITY, IA – The last day for the North Iowa Fair wraps up on Sunday and organizers say they are overwhelmed by the community support.
The fair which began earlier this week comes to a close today after a week-long of events and live entertainment.
It’s these same events that fair organizers say helped bring in the attendance they were hoping this year.
They say their proud of the communities involvement and say they’ve enjoyed the feedback as well.
“Everybody has come out and they’ve said you know, the fair is good, they liked it, they enjoyed it, their kids enjoyed it, they had fun here and that’s what our whole goal has been,” said David Green, General Manager for the North Iowa Events Center.
Always looking to go above and beyond, David says he and his staff are welcoming all suggestions to try to improve things for next year.
“It’s been absolutely great, the weather has been, other than yesterday morning, has been great. I have to thank the community for coming out seeing what’s going on and we look forward to improving for next year and continuing to build for next year,” said Green.
