CHARLES CITY, IA – Charles Cities’ new superintendent of schools is settling into his new office and looking forward to the year ahead.

Dan Cox is taking on the role of superintendent for the elementary and middle schools in Charles City.

He moved into his office just yesterday, but is already hard at work.

He says he’s eager to bring some new programs to the schools.

Superintendent, Dan Cox said, “I’m interested in bringing some programs to Charles City such as the leader in me to really tap into leadership potential that students have and have that compliment the effects that we’re doing on 21st century education.”
