Lt. Gov. Reynolds named national group’s treasurer

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds has been named treasurer of the National Lieutenant Governors Association.

Reynolds announced in a news release Friday that she was named to the position during the group’s annual meeting in Oklahoma City.

As treasurer, Reynolds will be one of the top three members of the association and will oversee its finances.

The position is effective immediately and runs through next July.

Reynolds replaces Connecticut Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.
