KIMT NEWS 3 – A few more faces will be having a say when it comes to the Destination Medical Center project in Rochester.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has named four appointments to an eight member board overseeing the project.
That includes: James Campbell, Tina Flint Smith, Susan Rani, and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak.
“One of those four will be the chair, that’s by the state legislation,” Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede said. “One of the ones the governor appoints will be the chair of the group, so I’m just looking forward to us getting started with that and seeing the wheels start moving.”
He adds the group should have their first meeting on the project sometime in August.
