Boil order ends in northern Iowa town of Fertile

FERTILE, Iowa (AP) — Officials have lifted a boil order in the small northern Iowa town of Fertile.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/17CT3aN) the town of 370 people in Worth County issued the boil advisory after a condenser in the town’s water plant failed Friday.

City clerk Cindy Peters says the order was lifted Tuesday after three health safety tests said the water was OK to drink.
