Wis. man arrested in Iowa over photos of girls

DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) — Police in eastern Iowa have arrested a Wisconsin man they say pretended to be a professional photographer to lure underage girls into posing nude.

The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports (http://bit.ly/13mu2Rw) that 47-year-old Randall Paul Trenary, of Hazel Green, Wis., was arrested Monday night in Sherrill on a warrant charging him with sexual exploitation of minors.

Trenary was being held Wednesday in Dubuque County Jail on $50,000 bond and could not be reached for comment.

Investigators say several girls participated in photography sessions with Trenary over the past several months and that Trenary often asked them for nude photos. Police say he promised the girls modeling careers or bought them gifts.

Trenary was convicted in 2001 of indecent exposure for exposing himself to a woman in a Dubuque parking lot.
