MASON CITY, IA – Local businesses in Prairie Park are joining forces to give back to two local non-profit organizations.
Stores and vendors will be hosting sales, offering specials and opening their doors to the public all weekend and are planning on giving 7 percent of their total earnings from the weekend to two groups in town.
Drew Bets, the owner of Custom Pro Video and one of the event creators said, “we’ve got two great organizations we’re giving back to, opportunity village and North Iowa youth center. Everybody participating here is giving back a total of 7% net profits produced during this weekend.”
The event features inflatables for the kids, lunch from Fareway and dinner from Whiskey Creek.
Prairie Park Party started Friday Aug. 2nd and will be going through the weekend.
