COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) — A 17-year-old Treynor High School student has been charged with third-degree sex abuse and kidnapping in connection with two incidents last November.
KETV television reports Thursday (http://bit.ly/128S29G ) the teen is accused in court documents of removing one victim’s clothes and fondling her and refusing to allow her to leave his pickup truck. In a second case he allegedly tried to tear off another girl’s underwear.
Treynor school officials say the teenager is a senior at the school and he has been placed in an alternative education program.
Online court records indicate the teen has a court appearance set for Sept. 3 and a trial date set for Oct. 29.
The Associated Press generally doesn’t name juveniles accused of a crime or their family.
