Large search in Duluth fails to locate woman

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — More than two dozen people searched a Duluth neighborhood, but found no sign of a 74-year-old woman who has been missing for three weeks.

Dale Gerard is a resident of an assisted-living facility and was last seen getting off a bus in Duluth July 20. Lincoln Park Citizen Patrol members and volunteers, along with law enforcement officers from Duluth and St. Louis County, used dogs in their search for the woman Thursday evening.

The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/14OH3pZ ) says officials have asked residents to check their campers and boats for Gerard.
