MASON CITY, Iowa – If you’re looking to keep your child active, involved, and on-stage the Stebens Children’s Theatre is an option you may consider.

Children of all ages are invited to visit with staff, check out sets and ask questions abut the fall classes at Stebens Children’s Theatre in Mason City.

They’re holding an open house from 6-8 pm Tuesday.

Existing members will be on hand to answer questions about classes, auditions and the main stage season.

They say it’s a great opportunity to try something new.

“It helps kids with their poise in front of people and working as a team. Then just the specific theatre arts of the acting and singing and dancing,” said Tom Ballmer, Executive Director for the Stebens Children’s Theatre.
