BRITT, Iowa – A new Facebook page is being seen as threatening and is causing some to ask, when does free speech go too far?

The page called “Witches Must Die by Fire” is certainly causing a stir within the Wiccan community.

Flo Cose, a Wiccan from Britt, was not only disturbed by what the Facebook page had to say about her religion, but she was concerned about her safety.

“I guess my biggest thing is i would like to portray that I am a mother, I am a grandmother so I deserve to die because my beliefs are a little different than yours? Because that’s what that Facebook page is promoting,” Cose said.

She says she sometimes thinks about history repeating itself, referencing back to the Salem Witch Trials.

Operators of the Facebook page in question were told to take it down while others assessed whether they were violating any rights.

The Facebook page was removed but is now back on the site.
