AUSTIN, MN — There is a new state-of-the-art facility in Austin and it is all about the kids.
A ceremony at Riverland Community College is kicking off the grand opening of the Apple Lane Child Care Center.
The president of Riverland accepted the keys to the $3 million facility during the ceremony.
“Riverland has been a continued partner for us, we’ve had that partnership for the past seven years with Riverland and expanding those services at this location allows us to provide additional services for students that may be going into the post-secondary education experience,” said Shannon Hart, Executive Director for the Apple Lane Child Care Center.
There are currently 220 children who attend Apple Lane. They range anywhere from six weeks to 12-years-old.
