DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration is awarding a nearly $2 million grant to the Dubuque Regional Airport.
U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley announced the grant Thursday. The money will go toward construction of the airport’s new terminal.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports (http://bit.ly/16SHyPr ) that work is part of a $39 million project at the airport that includes a new passenger terminal, airplane taxiway, parking facilities and roads.
The FAA is paying for most of that work.
