ALBERT LEA, Minn. — A nationwide tour that honors and helps veterans will be making its way to our area.
The 2013 Nation of Patriots will be making a stop at Bergdale’s Harley Davidson on Monday.
It carries an American flag over 48 states in 100 days.
The Albert Lea Harley Ownership Group will be taking part.
They will be taking the flag from Albert Lea to Waukon, Iowa.
Organizers say it’s a tremendous honor, and a way to give back to help veterans.
“That’s what this organization is about,” Chairman of the Nation of Patriots Tour Bryce Haugland said. “And to help disabled veterans that are combat wounded and their families, you know struggling when they come back.”
Anyone and everyone can take part in the ride with a five dollar donation.
The Albert Lea H.O.G Group will start their leg of the tour at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bergdale’s Harley Davidson.
