FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — Two people accused of killing a Fort Dodge man are expected to enter written pleas in the case instead of appearing before a judge.
The Fort Dodge Messenger reports (http://bit.ly/19EeGJg) that 29-year-old Ronald Dilley and 22-year-old Holly Ekstrom had been expected to appear in a Webster County courtroom for arraignment Monday. Instead, they will issue their written pleas.
The couple has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 22-year-old Steven Fisher, whose decomposed remains were found by an Otho farmer in a ditch on July 10.
Dilley and Ekstrom were arrested and charged two days later. They are each being held in the Webster County Jail on $500,000.
