C-SPAN makes tour stop in Mason City

MASON CITY, IA – Mason City was chosen as one of four Iowa cities on the C-SPAN Bus Tour.

The Mega Bus arrived at Central Park in downtown Mason City this morning and opened it’s doors to the public offering a wide variety of things to see and do.

Visitors had access to different programs and resources that C-SPAN has to offer and marketing representative Jessica Lindquist was excited to share this information with the public.

“We use it as our educational and marketing tool to talk about c-span and inform the public that there’s a resource to non-partisan government preceding so we’re here in Mason City this morning to open the bus up to the public,” Lindquist said.

The bus featured video clips of former first ladies, access to the C-SPAN website and information about all of the different programs the network has to offer.

The bus is making its way across the country will be venturing north to Minneapolis in the next couple of days.
