ALBERT LEA, Minn. — On Friday, we told you that a nationwide tour honoring military members would be stopping in our area.
Today, the 2013 Nation of Patriots Tour arrived at Bergdale Harley Davidson in Albert Lea.
The tour carries an American Flag across 48 states in 100 days.
Organizers with the Albert Lea Harley owners group or H.O.G are looking for folks to join them as they carry the flag to its next stop.
“We’re inviting anyone who would like to come to join us here tomorrow morning 8 to 9:30 to sign up,” 2013 Nation of Patriots Tour Chairman Bryce Haugland said. “And at 9:30, we’re leaving to go to Waukon, Iowa to put the flag on its next journey of the leg.”
The group will be meeting at Bergdale Harley Davidson tomorrow morning at 8.
Riders are asked to donate five dollars, which will help support wounded soldiers and veterans.
