DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa Federation of Labor President Ken Sagar has been re-elected to the post.
The union says in a news release Thursday that Sagar was unanimously re-elected last week to a four-year term during an annual convention. He was first elected president in 2008 and began working for the Iowa Federation of Labor in 1997. Sagar is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
The Iowa Federation of Labor represents more than 46,000 members, including state employees, construction workers and teachers.
