MASON CITY, Iowa – As a young man suffers from Chron’s disease, others are finding ways to help him get through it.
Jonathon Boyle is a student at Luther College, and is majoring in music and education.
And while he wishes he could be at school with his friends, he has to study at home because of his Chron’s disease.
Now, friends and family are trying to raise money for Boyle through social media.
He says the support is just overwhelming at times.
“It’s that combined with other things makes me it’s sort of awing the community support that there is,” said Boyle.
There is a benefit for Jonathon September 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Those attending will also be walking around downtown to see the statues.
