CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Clear Lake went back in time on Sunday for their 21st Annual Antiques in the Square.
59 antique dealers set up shop in City Park and had everything from pottery to furniture, collectibles to flatware, all available for purchase.
In the past, this event has brought nearly 10,000 additional people into Clear Lake area to browse antiques and Ralphene Stokke, the event coordinator, said that thanks to the weather and the holiday weekend this event lands on, it should turn out to be one of the bigger years.
“We’ve had numbers up to 10,000 people coming for this show so and they came from north of Minneapolis, down from Kansas city, eastern part of the state…lot of people from Des Moines,” Stokke said.
